Our Office Policies
Our office is conveniently located . Our friendly and efficient Front Office Staff will assist you to arrange an appointment that is most convenient. To schedule an appointment please call us at (410) 620-7800.
Payment is due at the time of service, except for Medicare or Medicaid. If your insurance requires a referral from your PCP, it is your responsibility to bring it to your appointment or you will have to reschedule.
We will call your insurance company to verify coverage and pre-certify your surgery. Out of courtesy we will file your claim to your insurance. You will be responsible for your deductible and the co-insurance that has not been met and is not covered by your insurance.
Note: THIS AMOUNT WILL BE COLLECTED BEFORE YOUR SURGERY.
If you do not have insurance we will give you an estimate of surgery charge, which will be due before your surgery.
Our bill is for surgeon's fee only. You will receive bills from anaesthesiology, pathology, laboratory, radiology, the hospital and sometimes consulting physicians or assistant surgeons.

Appointments & Cancellations
With the exception of serious emergencies, it is expected that you keep all of your appointments. If you need to reschedule an appointment we require 24 hours notice. In such a case, please call our office and arrange for a make-up appointment with one of our patient care coordinators.
In the event that you need to cancel your appointment, kindly provide 24 hours notice. Your consideration in this matter will allow us to accommodate other patients who could benefit from an appointment.
Our office provides on-call service for emergencies. Call 410-620-7800 so that the physician on call can be contacted.
Emergency after-hours coverage is provided by one of the physicians. The On-Call doctor can be reached by dialing the main number: 410-620-7800.
The Fem Care Health Associates, PC accepts cash and personal checks as well as the following credit cards:
- Co-payments at the time of service
- Deductibles or Co-insurance
- Non-covered services by your insurance company
Payment Plans Are Available
After insurance has paid and you have an outstanding balance and you are unable to pay the total amount within 30 days of service, you may arrange to pay in monthly installments, which would be due at the same time each month.

The Fem Care Health Associates, PC provides our patients with office forms for your convenience. We recommend you print and fill these forms prior to your appointment to save time.
